Description: On May 29, the Mimico Village BIA presented their 16th annual Mimico Village Tulip Festival! There was free family fun to be enjoyed by all! Local schools painted four-foot-tall tulips which were unveiled at the opening ceremonies. Many community leaders participated in this event, including teachers from throughout the area and The Hon. Jean Augustine. Entertainment included a Lady Gaga-endorsed Lady Gaga impersonator, a singing stilt walker, Bollywood dancing, and live jazz music. Guests could enjoy free popcorn and cotton candy, a charity barbecue, a local vendor market, and a wall climb.
