Description: Every June, the talented students of Royal House of Music take the stage to perform for friends and family at the Hay Stock Music Festival. This year, the newly renamed Oak Learners took over Amos Waites Park in Mimico-by-the-Lake. It was an opportunity to celebrate the musical achievements of students and their teachers, while enjoying the surroundings of the lakeside community. Each student performed a piece that they worked on with their teachers during their weekly lessons. Additionally, the audience was treated to special guest performances by local musical talents! Local businesses got in on the fun too and provided food and refreshments. Oak Centre for Creative Learners aims to inspire creativity, foster technique, encourage confidence and nurture growth by developing individuality and promoting community.
